Our Story

In the farmlands of Eastern North Carolina, our house sat at the end of a long dirt road cut through several acres of tall pines, on a piece of land that we shared with deer, coyotes, raccoons, snakes, frogs, lizards, birds and bobcats. 

The closest town was home to less than a thousand people—no stoplights, no bus stop, but you could get a burger, fill your prescriptions, and buy gas and groceries, and that's pretty much all we needed.

Bottom line — we were country, and proudly still are! And this is where we grew up, huntin’ and fishin’, ridin’ ATVs, and gettin’ lost in the woods. — The theme of our shop, American Country Life, is born of our childhood experiences. And every product we design is created with the spirit of that good country life.
